  1. What got you started in website design?

"I enjoyed surfing through different sites on the internet and the information I found was amazing, So I decided to do my own site so my family and others may see what I have researched over the years."

  2. What do you hope to accomplish with your website?

"A record of my family lineage for all the genealogist and family members who may be interested, and maybe an example of how to make a simple site for their genealogy sites."

  3. What advice would you give other webmasters?

"Keep it simple and no clutter your web site up with lots of the fancy bells and whistles. Learn the basic's first HTML and then branch into the other's. And remember to follow a theme throughout your site and use a good means of navigation for you visitors."

  4. What was the biggest problem you faced with your website?

"After building the site I found it very time consuming to make changes until I discovered CSS. And then making sure every page would validate."

  5. If you had to do it all over again, what would you do differently?

"I believe I would have paid more attention to what made the best sites and how they achieved there looks and honors, then take some classes to learn how to build a website right the first time."

  6. What plans do you have for the future?

"I am volunteering as an instructor in HTML for a group of us that we call Web Tech University and we offer FREE classes to help others learn how to build web sites better. I enjoy seeing people of all stages of knowledge progress in the web site skills."

  7. What else do you like to do?

"I have been an evaluator for an award program for a few years now and I have joined and ethics group called CEM/CEMA and I would like to spread the word about ethics and web sites."
