UWSAG SelectedAs a valued award seeker your opinion of the programs to which you apply for awards is just as important as their opinion of your website. At UWSAG we have the opportunity to vote for those award programs which you feel are the best. Once you are an UWSAG Seal of Approval silver or Gold nominee you have the chance to grant this little distinction to your favorite Award Program.
Perhaps it was the way in which their criteria helped you, the great feedback they gave, or maybe the tools available (like tutorials, articles or resources) on site make you return again and again. What ever the reason, these sites deserve to be rewarded. The competition will be held on an annual basis! Each Gold and silver SOA nominee gets to choose a top 5 of best AP's (not only UWSAG rated ones) and those scores are tallied up and the best one is the "UWSAG selected"-AP! Silver and gold nominees, this is how it works:
At the end of each year UWSAG will contact you to pass along your top 5. This program is no longer active. Winner 2009: Vie's Inn of Wonders' Awards

- Tony is always ready to help webmasters to improve their knowledge in many ways, including coding, layout/design, wording, criteria - the list goes on. He gives unstintingly of his time to anyone who asks - he is a real treasure! Diane Hawkins - Teaching and Learning resources - After finally so many years my favorite wins this great award! Tony has the AP with the most extensive feedback possible and on top of that he's a truly great guy, who is always willing to help with your site or AP... Tim Beylemans - Tim's Spider Corner - Vie's Inn of Wonders is a perfect example of how an award program should be run. Great time and dedication is given to the evaluation process, giving the applicant a complete and thorough review. Congratulations on providing us all with an excellent service. You are a credit to the Awards community! Jo Phillips - Firestarter Pyrography Winner 2005 & 2008: FunTyme Entertainment Awards

- Congratulations Fun Tyme - you deserve it! When I first started to apply for web awards I had many disappointments over the years and then I applied for one of Sandy's awards. It took a while but I eventually received a Merit award from her. She had made such wonderful remarks about my site That I decided I wanted to better my site even more, which I did. Then after 3 years I applied again and received a Bronze and more lovely remarks. I was thrilled. Her awards are hard to win and the criteria must be read as it is invaluable to anyone wanting to win her awards. Her site is a delight for all to see and is extremely well set out with easy navigation throughout. Well done! Margot Stuart - NZ Fantasy Artist: Ellinore Ginn - I would like to give my personal congratulations to Sandy and her outstanding award program, Fun Tyme awards. I'm never quite sure where she finds the time to dedicate towards the upkeep of her excellent award program and the infinite amount of help and guidance she gives to those who need a little extra help or even to those who have good coding skills but may have over looked a few small points! Fun Tyme is a true gem amongst the awards community. Well done Sandy and keep up your great work! We all need you, you know! Jo Philips - Firestarter Pyrography - Funtyme.... I know Sandy and her award program as long as I am busy with website building. I saw her awards on a site and I loved them, so I applied for one of them. But... she turned me down and at first I was so disappointed, till she explained to me why and I decided to work hard and really deserve one of her awards... I worked and improved my site and I got one !!! I was so proud !!! And now Sandy's program is rated, for a couple of years already. All those years, from the beginning, her judgment was hard, but fair. And although a site is maybe not that good, or even really bad, when a site owner wants to learn and asks Sandy wants to help. That is the great thing about the Fun Tyme award program and its owner, and that is why the Fun Tyme Award Program is my number 1 choice for "UWSAG Selected". Hannah Bouma - It's Wishcraft - Sandy is without a doubt one of the most helpful people in the AP world. Her help and advice is above and beyond what is expected. Rhianna Blackthorn - Rhianna's Rampage Winner 2006 & 2007: Tim's Spider Awards

- Tim of Tim's Spider Corner is a highly skilled webmaster who commands respect for his knowledge, achievements and generosity of spirit. Tim gives unstintingly of his time to help others improve their site, solve a coding problem or just offer support/advice. I certainly am forever in his debt! Diane Hawkins - Teaching & Learning Resources - I think Tim's Spider Award is one of the most clear in his criteria and site navigation. I find Tim always ready to help you to improve my site and my AP. I'm very happy that Tim can receive this important acknowledgement, and I hope Tim can help the AP community for many, many time again. Fabrizio Sesana - Ciosbahn - Knowing Tim for several years I'm not surprised he achieved so much. When he started with his Award Program, he asked me to help him which I did of course. I must say Tim is a much better programmer then I am and without asking he did a lot in return for me. His awards are not easy to earn, because his criteria are though and he is fair to his applicants. Without doubt one of the better Award Programs on the internet and well deserved to receive UWSAG selected honor. Huub Crapels - BV. Lindenheuvel |
